How will I use a blog?

I would like to use my blog to communicate with parents and students outside of the classroom. I have parents that daily want emails of assignments, using a blog would make it their responsibility to check on assignments. I of course would have to post them, but I can do that.

I would also use this as a format to answer and discuss math problems with students. When a student has questions about a homework problem not only can they see my response but other students solutions and ideas also.

Me

I teach 8th grade mathematics. I am going to be starting my 6th year of teaching in Sturgis. I received my B.S. in Education from Central Michigan University with a major in Mathematics and minor in Geography. I am currently working on my Masters in Technology Education through Michigan State University.
